Environmental Considerations

A throw back to the classic terrazzo, new green terrazzo includes recycled glass, waste sea shells from farms, porcelain for mold toilets, tubs and sinks, car wind shields and more. Solid surfaces are the perfect material to incorporate industrial waste. Our landfills are being filled and expanded at alarming rates. Diversion and ruse of post consumer waste is a priority, by taking a unique material that has a story of its own on the path of waste diversion the design result is a unique and beautiful space.

Common use

Floor tiles, stair treads, kitchen and vanity counters, shower and tub enclosures. Most terrazzo is very bright and colorful. Polished to the smoothness of granite or marble it is a perfect choice over these energy intensive and environmental destructive materials – (pictures of marble and granite quarries)

Modern look classic in style terrazzo is an ageless material. Bright and polished these materials reflect the good life.
