My Philosophy

Sanctuary Design enables me to help people create welcoming spaces where they may rejuvenate. I’m inspired by the art and science of balancing form and function. Sustainable design has allowed me to create a style that is fresh, unique and modern. The objective of Sanctuary Design is to allow intention to shape the purpose of the space. In other words; how do you want to feel once you’ve left the room? This may translate to spa bathrooms, welcoming kitchens, meditation rooms, yoga/zen spaces. it is all those areas of our home that make us feel safe.

Six Principles of Sanctuary Design

  • It’s about you. Allow your lifestyle to dictate the purpose of the space
  • Doing things right the first time
  • Using sustainable practices and materials
  • Recognizing that space is intelligent
  • Creating harmony through the use of complimentary colors and materials
  • Always improving indoor air quality

About me

I was born in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I have been fortunate enough to have spent most of my life on the central coast. Experiencing most of my formative years in places so abundant with natural life has taught me to have deep respect for our planet.  I received my degree in Interior Design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles. What began as a smarter career option for me to monetize my creativity, has grown into a philosophy.

What is your space saying?
